Coming from a family of food lovers, be it before or after marriage, has really motivated me to become something more than just a house wife. I started trying my hand at new things and when I got positive reactions from my family, an idea came to my mind to promote healthy living from the comforts at home. Initially I embarked on this journey by connecting with lokmat times newspaper and gave them food articles to print. What started out as two articles weekly has now progressed to four articles in a matter of two years.
I began writing down various recipes, and then made videos to accompany them. You can find these on my YouTube, Facebook and Instagram pages where I have already uploaded more than 300 recipes. Being actively involved in today's social world, I've also become a blogger. The links to all my pages will be found below.
After doing all this I still felt a little incomplete so I started to think of other ways to let the world know about the different types of Indian cuisines. Hence I began looking into the heritage foods most of which are lost with time. After doing a lot of research on such I wrote down tons of recipes and will be launching a book soon namely 'Treasure foods of India'.
