Ingredient


1 Cup Masoor Dal ( Orange ), 1 Cup Tuvar Dal , 3/4 Cup Tamarind Paste , 2 Tomatoes , Chopped , 2 Slit Green Chillies , Coriander leaves , 1 Sprig Curry Leaves , 1 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste , 1 tbsp Red Chilli Powder, 1 tsp Turmeric Powder ,

Procedure

Firstly , was the dal and soak them for 30 minutes . In a pressure cook , add the dal along with ginger garlic paste , Tomatoes , turmeric powder , chilli powder and curry leaves . Add 3 cups water and cook the dal till soft . Open the lid and mash the dal , add the tamarind paste and continue to cook on low flame till the dal the tamarind is mixed properly , almost it will take 10-15 minutes . For the baghar , heat the ghee and oil till smoking hot , add cumin seeds , red chillies , garlic , curry leaves and cook till splutter . Add to the dal and cover the lid so that the flavours get captured . Garnish with coriander leaves .. Serve Hot !!
