Ingredient


1 Cup Basmati Rice , Soaked, 2 Cups Water, Few Strands Of Saffron, 1/4 Cup Ghee, 3 Green Cardamom, 3 Cloves, 1/2 Cup Sugar, 2 tbsp Sugar to sprinkle, Dryfruits fried in Ghee

Procedure

Soak the rice . Boil the water with saffron . This naturally give a pale yellow colour to the rice . Add the rice and cover and cook till done . In a pan, add ghee , add the dryfruits of your choice , sauté and remove . In the same pan add the whole spices , add one layer of rice followed with the sugar . Cover it with another layer of rice . Sprinkle some sugar. Add the fried dryfruits and cover and cook on slow had till sugar melts . Gently mix it . Add fried cashewnuts on top . Serve hot !!
