Ingredient


1.5 litres Milk , 1 Cup grated Bottle Gourd , 2 -3 tbsp Ghee , 5-6 tbsp raw rice , 100 gms Khoya ( Grated ), 1/2 Cup Sugar, A few drops of rose essence , Few saffron strands , 12-15 Almonds Sliced , Few rose petals to garnish.

Procedure

Wash the rice and allow it to dry . Once dried grind it to fine powder . Keep aside Grate the bottle guide and boil in little water till cooked . Heat ghee in pan , add the powdered rice and stir for a minute . Add the milk and stir it quickly to avoid lumps . Cool on low flame till rice is soft . Add the bottle gourd and mix gently d add the khoya and sugar and cook till the mixture thickens and sticks to the back of the laddle . Add some of the sliced almonds and rose essence . Mix well .
