Ingredient


1 Cup Soaked Rice , 2 Cups water, 2-3 Dry red Chillies , 1 tbsp Coriander, 1 stick Cinnamon, 3-4 Peppercorns, 2-3 Cardamom , green , 2 Cloves, 1/4th Cup grated coconut, 3-4 Cloves , 1 tbsp Cumin Seeds, 1 piece Ginger , 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder, 1/4 tsp Asafoetida , Few curry leaves , 2 green chillies , Slit , 1/4 cup Peas, 1 potato , Diced , 1 Onion , sliced, 1 tomato , chopped .

Procedure

Firstly wash and soak the rice . De seed the red chillies . Dry roast all the whole spices in a pan along with dry coconut . Grind it along with garlic , ginger and turmeric . Use little water . In a pan , heat oil, asafoetida, Slit chillies and curry leaves. Add sliced onion and cook till brown . Add the peas , potato , tomato and spices and cook till the veggies are soft . Add the paste and bhuno . Add the rice and mix well. Add water and cover and cook till done . Top up with little ghee and mix . Serve hot !’
