Ingredient


1 Cup Sooji / Semolina, 2 tbsp Ghee, 1 Cup Sugar, 1 Cup Water , 1/2 tsp Green Cardamom Powder , Water to knead dough, Oil for frying .

Procedure

In a bowl take semolina , rub the ghee in it . Add water and knead to dough . The dough should be smooth and combined totally . Cover for 1/2 an hour . Make big and a bit thick chapatis . Cut them in squares like normal shakarpare . Heat oil in a Kadai . Deep fry them on low flame till light brown in colour . In another vessel , add water and sugar and make sugar syrup of one string . Add cardamom powder . Add the fried shakarpare and mix gently . Remove it on a plate and let it dry . Store in an airtight container !! Ready !!
