Ingredient


Marinade 500 gms Mutton pieces and some chops, 2 tsp each ginger garlic paste, 2 tsp raw papaya paste , 1 cup curd, 2 tbsp red chilli powder, 1 tsp turmeric powder , 2 juices of lime , Salt to taste , Whole spices ( 1 dalchini , 5-6 cloves, 4-5 green elaichi ) , 2 sliced onions fried to golden brown, 1/2 cup coriander leaves chopped, 5-6 green chillies chopped , Topping 500 gm rice 3/4th cooked , Saffron dissolved in half cup milk, 3 tbsp ghee .

Procedure

Marinade the Mutton with the spices above . Put 2 tbsp oil in which the onion is fried . Rub the marinade very well to the Mutton and keep it for 4 hrs . Burn the coal , and place the laggan with Mutton on it . Spread it all over the base . Now spread the rice on top by pouring ghee , saffron milk and cover it by sealing with the dough . Let it simmer for almost 45 minutes or till the Mutton is cooked . Open the lid and mix it carefully . Serve hot . Ready !!
